Returns Policy
1. Have we made a mistake?
If you have received a defective item, or an item which is different from what you ordered, you must notify us within 30 days from the date you received it.
Subject to the paragraphs below, all you need to do is to fill in the return form on the website, and we will send you an email with the information on how to return the product to us.
Please keep the package you received the product in so that it can be used when returning the product.
Treeet will pay for the shipping cost of returning the item, and we will provide you with the necessary Australia Post bar code label along with the address to return it to.
Once we receive your returned item we will issue a refund via the same payment method used when purchased. You will receive a full refund including shipping and handling cost.
Please note however that treeet will not refund:
- CDs, DVDs or Games which have been opened, and not in the original sealed/shrink wrapped condition unless it is clear that those items were defective as at the time of supply and the relevant defect could not have been identified by you without opening relevant packaging. If the case looks defective or the title is wrong, then do not open and remove the sealed packaging or shrink wrapping; or
- Products that come with an express manufacturer's warranty. These are to be dealt with in the manner set out in section 3 below.
2. Have you changed your mind?
It’s human to change your mind and we’re generally happy, subject to the paragraphs below, to accept returns if the product is in new/saleable condition and returned within 30 days of shipping date.
You will need to fill in the return form on the website, and we will send you an email with instructions on how to return the product to us by close.
Once we receive your returned product we will issue a refund of the price paid less our postage and handling charges (net sale price) via the same payment method used when purchased.
Please note, however:
- We are unable to accept returns under this section 2 of Games, CDs and DVDs which are not in their original sealed /shrink wrapped condition.
- We are unable to accept returns of game consoles.
3. Products under warranty
For products that come with an express manufacturer's warranty, such as game consoles, you must contact and deal with the manufacturer directly in relation to any defects.
4. Receiving a refund or credit voucher
Once the return form has been received and approved (instructions sent to you), treeet will process any refund or credit voucher to which you are entitled within 5 working days. We will notify you with an email confirmation once this has occurred.
